Detroit's unique population and health disparities present unique challenges
Addressing infectious diseases in metropolitan Detroit requires a collaborative approach across medical, social, civic, government, education and community resources. Wayne State University partners with resources to meet community needs head on and hands on, including through mobile health units to distribute vaccines or educate Detroiters on the importance of infectious disease screenings.
